Book - 2009
Last
day to purchase: November 30, 2008!
The
2009 Entertainment Savings Book will be available
through BAEOP starting in August. It has something
for everyone and you can start using the money
savings coupons as soon as you get your book. It
pays for itself in just a few uses, because it
is loaded with 50% off discounts on things most
people do every day. Give the gift that is always
the perfect size, color and style. Give the gift
of Entertainment. For friends and family, a year's
worth of savings on dining, shopping, travel, recreation
and much more, makes a great gift for any occasion.
You
can pre-order the "Greater Seattle / Eastside Book" for our special reduced rate of $20.00, from any BAEOP member, the Office Manager
at your school or by contacting Christy Ansari
at (4595).
Or
if you want to get a gift for someone out of town,
you may go online and order a book from any of
the 160 cities across the country, at our special
discounted rate (prices may vary depending on the
city), plus $5.00 for shipping and handling.
- When
ordering online, go to www.entertainment.com/support and enter the group account number for BAEOP (128903) and press Preview.
- At
the top of the next screen you will see a green
box that says, "A portion of your purchase amount will go to support BAEOP ."
- Click
on "View All Books". This will take you to a page that displays the various cities that currently
have the 2008 Entertainment Book. Select the
appropriate city to view their discounted rate.
- Then
press "Buy the Book" and fill in the appropriate information to order the book(s) of your choice.
The book(s) will be mailed directly to the address
you designate.
We
had an amazing year of Entertainment Book sales
this year and have raised nearly $1,600 for the
Scholarship Fund. As a result, we have decided
to offer three $500 Member Dependent Scholarships,
three $200 Members Scholarships and donate $250
to support the BSD Summer School Scholarship program.

Recycling Printer Cartridges and Cell Phones
BAEOP is currently participating in a recycling program that enables us to turn
recycled items into cash for our Scholarship Fund.
The following items can be recycled:
- Empty Inkjet Cartridges
- Empty Laser Cartridges
- Used Cell Phones
- Laptops (power cords must be included)
- PDAs (Palm Pilots)
- Video games
- DVD movies
- Portable DVD Player
- MP3 Players
- Digital Cameras
- Digital Photo Frames
- GPS Devices
Members can collect these items from:
- Work
- Home
- Friends
- Family
- Neighbors

Recycling Aluminum
We are also recycling aluminum cans. If anyone has some cans to donate, please contact
Paula Jo Brave to make appropriate arrangements.
Recycling Newspaper
BAEOP members are also turning newspapers into cash. We have had three containers placed at two locations for newspapers to be recycled. One container is located at ESC and two are at Robinswood. We would like to encourage other employees to join us in this endeavor and bring their newspapers to one of these sites.

Fun and Games Gift Pack - 2006
In
the Fall of 2006, BAEOP
raffled a "Fun and Games Gift Bag" to subsidize the BAEOP General Fund. We want to thank all who sold and bought
tickets. It is because
of your support that
the raffle generated
$225.00. Kathleen Auld
was the lucky winner.
She works in the Library
at Odle MS and is a
long time BAEOP member.

the BAEOP Scholarship
Fund.

drawing. We found
it very interesting

Raffle
Basket - 2007

Our
2007 Spring Basket
contained a variety
of items that would
be enjoyed by many.
We want to thank
all who contributed
to
the basket and /or
bought tickets. We
raised nearly $480.00,
which will help us
to fund future scholarships.
The winner was Linda
Hawkins, Executive
Director of Special
Education at ESC,
who generously shared
the contents with
her staff and others
at ESC. Now, the
basket is empty and
waiting for next
year.
Raffle Basket - 2006

As you can tell from
the picture to the right, our basket was extremely
full and contained a variety of items that many
would enjoy winning. We were able to raise $414.00
for our Scholarship Fund. We would like to thanks
everyone who contributed, either by donating items
or by purchasing tickets. The lucky winner was
Sharon Howard from ESC. She chose to share items
from the basket with others at ESC.

In 2005, we had two theme baskets to raffle; Personal Care and Entertainment. We were able to raise about $325.00 for our Scholarship Fund. We would like to thanks everyone who contributed, either by donating items or by purchasing tickets. Carole McKinstry and Jan Thread from ESC were the lucky winners.

In 2004, we had four theme baskets; Gardening, Personal Care, Kitchen Things and Entertainment. These baskets raise nearly $400.00 for the Scholarship Fund. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures of these baskets.
Raffle Basket - 2003
This Basket was overflowing
with a large variety of
items and was raffled during
the spring of 2003. We
were able to collect almost
$325.00 for our Scholarship
Fund. Mary Montgomery from
MSC was the lucky winner.
